"REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month.
REMINDER..... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls.

.... YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number"

Even Jake Got something from the Spoon River Drive

Even my dog, Jake, got something from the Spoon River Drive this year. New "Doggy duds" (John Deere tractors), from www.dandydoggyduds.com in Macomb, IL.
I would have bought one for my poodle, Zoe, but she won't wear a collar. Jake is such a good sport about it and doesn't mind wearing it at all! Of course, as I was putting it on him, he thought we were going for a walk, lol. Not today Jake, toooo cold!

Spoon River Drive 2009

Wow, was it ever cold and wet this year during the Spoon River Drive! However, it was still a successful year. Special thanks to everyone who stopped by my tent even during the cold and rainy weather. You just never know what the weather is going bring. Last year, both weekends were nice and warm!
  • I want to give a special thanks to my family and friends (Sheila, Jeff, Amy, David and Andrew) who helped me during the drive. I could not have done it without them. I just wish I would have gotten more pictures :( This is my friend Sheila and I all wrapped up for the winter, cold air. Sheila was so nice to help me make my famous wax "Fire Starters". I sold three large baskets full (over 200) and still could have sold more. I think Sheila was doing fire starters in her sleep, lol.
  • Now that the drive is over, I am getting ready to make Christmas candles to take to the Simply Everything Unique Boutique in Grand Prairie Mall. I also, have several products now in the Fort Street Antiques store in Farmington, IL that just opened up next to Diva's flowers. I have the Electric Glass oil /tart warmers and Rustic oil/tart warmers, candle tarts, lotions, primitive night lights and home decor. You can see my products online at http://www.littlecreekcandle.com/.
  • I just can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner! I have so much shopping to do for the grand kids. The adults are easy; money and gift baskets, lol.
  • I will be adding to my blog more often now and adding pictures, too. I hope you can join my blog. I would love to hear from you and I am open to ideas, suggestions and thoughts! http://littlecreekhappenings.blogspot.com/
Thanks again for another great year!
